Located in the crossroad of East-West Boulevard of 60 m  and the Inner Ring Road of 60 m width Ward 16, District 8, HCMC, Carina Plaza was invested by Hung Thanh Co., Ltd. – a member of NBB. This is the first project among the complex of high-rise apartments by NBB, in the most potential invested area in District 8, starting in 2008. 

The area of project zone is 1,94 hectares. The area of building floors is 98,960m2. The project involves building three high-rise apartment blocks - two 14-storey blocks and one 20-storey blocks, including a basement, a 4-floored commercial centre with a swimming pool on top, together with entertainment and sport complex, and 736 apartment units.  

Total estimated investment is 914,48 billion Dong, 95% of which is financed by NBB. The expected time of completion will be 2011. As of 31/12/2008: 1/500 zoning was approved and the technical design was completed. The building of foundation was finished. The opening ceremony of the apartment model was held on 22/11/2008.

454 out of 736 apartment units were sold out, accounting for 62%.
